His paternal grandfather, Golden Tessa's Rio, was an APLA 4x Grand Master Pointer Retriever and AKC Master Hunter and damed by Maple Mountain Rimi Rooster Buster. His paternal great-grandfather, Bar None's Snake River Otter, was a member of the APLA hall of fame.

His maternal great-grandfather, Rik's Risky Raider, was the US Open Winner in 2001in the APLA Hall of Fame. Diggers paternal great-great-grandfather, Holingzer's Risky Business has 4 AKC Master Qualifications. His maternal 3rd great-grandmother was the 95 US Open Winner-96 US Open Top Gun Winner.
